- Payment For Web Orders:
We accept all major credit cards as well as Paypal for online orders. Items shipped within Washington State are charged 10.1% sales tax. Feel free to place a phone order anytime as well at 206.623.2626. We are open daily from 11-7 and love to chat on the phone and answer questions.
We ship all in stock items within 5 days of payment via USPS standard post with tracking. Please contact us for combined shipping and international shipping rates.
- Returns and Exchanges:
We have a pretty darn good track record of happy customers but just in case we gladly offer store credit, refunds, or exchanges (less shipping costs) if you are not thrilled with your purchase. Please do not return an item purchased online without notifying us first. All returned items must be in new condition and in the original retail packaging. If your order arrived damaged, feel free to send a photo to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please make returns within 14 days of purchase. Sorry, no returns on sale items.
- Sold Out:
Excluding the one-of-a-kind vintage pieces, many of our items are available even if we are momentarily sold out. Contact us and we will do our best to get our hands on the item you have been dreaming of!

Please don't hesitate to inquire about custom pieces and special requests. Butter Home works with many talented artists and makers; from woodworkers and metalsmithes to fiber artists, photographers, jewelry designers, and letterpress aficionados. Chances are we can find a source for your custom piece... or at least steer you in the right direction. Plus, we love any distraction from paperwork you want to entertain us with.
- Artist Submissions:
Of course! We are always on the hunt for new and awesome products and partnerships for the shop! Just keep in mind we have a very small shop and therefore limited space. Though your creations may be the best ever, we might have to pass for the moment until we figure out how all of the puzzle pieces will fit together.
